These terms govern your use of Commentio (commentio.app and my.commentio.app), run by IDV Works ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Commentio you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
Use a real email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself: you are responsible for what is done in your account. One account is for one person.
The work Commentio does for you is paid for in credits, the service's internal currency. You buy credits in packages; the payment is taken by Paddle, which acts as the seller of record, and Paddle's checkout terms apply to the purchase.
The price of every action is shown before you start it. Credits are set aside when a task starts and charged when it finishes; if a task fails, the credits set aside for it come back to your balance by themselves.
Credits have no cash value. They cannot be moved to another account or another product, and cannot be exchanged for money except as described below.
Credits are added to your balance as soon as you pay, so a purchase is final. If a task fails, the credits set aside for it come back to your balance by themselves.
This does not limit any right to a refund that the law of your country gives you as a consumer. Such requests are handled by Paddle, the seller of record, under its refund policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy). What you give the service to work on stays yours. You confirm that you have the right to use it, and you allow us to process it only in order to provide the service to you. We do not host or redistribute videos: they are played through YouTube, and their use is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Do not use Commentio to break the law or anyone's rights, do not try to overload it, break into it or get around its limits, do not access it automatically in bulk other than through the functions it offers, and do not resell access to it without our written consent.
Transcripts, translations and the other results are produced automatically by AI models and may contain mistakes. Check them before relying on them for anything important.
We work to keep Commentio running and your data safe, but we cannot promise that the service will always be available or free of errors, and it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can delete your account at any time in its settings or by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Credits left on an account closed for breaking these terms are not refunded.
We publish every new edition on this page, with its date, and tell you in advance about changes that matter. If you go on using Commentio after a new edition takes effect, you accept it.
